About the Role
RM Worthy is looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor to support clients who organize events and use video content to promote their work on Instagram and other social media platforms.

The role focuses on creating engaging event highlight videos while incorporating animation, motion graphics, and visual effects when required. The ideal candidate can combine compelling storytelling with polished editing and creative visual elements to produce professional, social media-ready content.

Main Responsibilities
1. Event Highlight Video Editing
Edit raw event footage into engaging, polished highlight videos for Instagram and other social media platforms.

Select the best shots and arrange them into a compelling visual story.

Apply effective pacing, music synchronization, transitions, and color correction.

Follow the client's established editing style, branding, and creative direction.

Optimize videos for the intended social media platforms.

2. Animation and Motion Graphics
Create animations, motion graphics, animated titles, and text elements using Adobe After Effects.

Incorporate visual effects and graphic elements to enhance video presentation.

Produce clean, professional animations that complement the footage and meet project requirements.

Integrate After Effects compositions into Premiere Pro projects when needed.

3. Adobe Premiere Pro Editing
Organize footage, synchronize audio, and maintain clean editing timelines.

Perform color correction, sound cleanup, transitions, and other post-production tasks.

Maintain consistent video quality and export projects according to the client's specifications.

4. Collaboration and Revisions
Work closely with the lead editor to learn and follow the established editing style and workflow.

Keep project files and media assets organized.

Apply feedback and revisions promptly.

Meet deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.

Requirements and Skills
Proven experience in creative video editing, particularly for events, weddings, corporate events, or social media content.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Proficient in Adobe After Effects, including animation and motion graphics.

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, and music synchronization.

Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.

Ability to follow creative direction and maintain consistent brand standards.

Good communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.

Comfortable working with shared project files and receiving feedback from a lead editor.
