About the Position

We are launching a faceless YouTube channel focused on business, economics, consumer behaviour, and engaging documentary-style content.

We are looking for an experienced, creative video editor who understands YouTube storytelling, audience retention, and how to produce professional, engaging, long-form videos.

We intend to use AI-assisted production tools such as VidRush, Higgsfield, or similar platforms.

We will generally provide the script, voiceover, and initial AI-generated footage or video draft. Your responsibility will be to transform these materials into a polished, professional YouTube video.

Video Length: Approximately 15–20 minutes
Employment: Freelance / Part-Time Initially
Potential Workload: Up to 20 videos per month as production expands
Compensation: USD $50–$100 per completed video, depending on complexity and the amount of editing required.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging, professional-quality faceless YouTube documentaries.
• Improve AI-generated video drafts, replacing irrelevant or poor-quality footage.
• Maintain strong storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
• Select relevant, commercially licensed stock footage when required.
• Incorporate basic motion graphics, charts, text, and visual explanations.
• Synchronise narration, balance audio levels, and add appropriate background music.
• Review the entire completed video to ensure excellent quality.
• Deliver horizontal 16:9 videos, minimum 1080p, together with editable project files.

All footage, music, graphics, and other assets must have appropriate commercial usage rights.

Required Experience

• Proven experience editing long-form faceless YouTube videos.
• Strong storytelling and professional editing skills.
• Experience with documentary, educational, business, or explainer content.
• Ability to improve AI-generated videos and work with stock footage.
• Basic motion graphics and audio editing skills.
• Good written English, attention to detail, and reliable communication.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow instructions.

Experience with AI video tools is an advantage. We do not require any particular editing software.

IMPORTANT – Portfolio Requirements

PLEASE SUBMIT EXACTLY THREE RELEVANT VIDEO EXAMPLES.

We do not want your entire portfolio, a general YouTube channel link, or unrelated projects.

Please provide:

1. Faceless Documentary: A professionally edited, long-form documentary-style YouTube video demonstrating excellent storytelling and pacing.

2. Business or Educational Explainer: A video demonstrating relevant stock footage, graphics, charts, and visual explanations.

3. AI-Assisted Video: A video created or improved using AI production tools. If unavailable, provide another relevant faceless documentary or explainer video.

For each example, include a direct video link, a brief description of your personal contribution, and the software used.

Only three examples will be reviewed. Applications with general portfolios or unrelated examples may not be considered.

Compensation and Application

Our budget is USD $50–$100 per completed 15–20-minute video, depending on the complexity of the editing and the quality of the supplied material.
