About the Role

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM US Eastern (9 PM – 6 AM Philippine time; 10 PM – 7 AM from Nov 1).

PAY: $700/month, raise after a 60-day review. Paid monthly through OnlineJobs.ph Easypay. Long-term, full-time, working directly with the owners.

⚠️ READ THIS FIRST
This job is only for people who have already worked as a VA for a US (or Canada/UK/Australia) residential cleaning company: house cleaning, maid service, move-out cleans. If you've never worked for a cleaning company, please don't apply. We'll skip it, even if you're great at everything else.

ABOUT US
We're two 19-year-old college students running Vassal Cleaning, a house cleaning company in Miami and South Florida. We book cleans for nice homes and send independent cleaners to do them. Small team, no corporate stuff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Sales (most of the job)

  • Text every new lead back in under 1 minute, then call them. Leads come from Thumbtack, Google and our website.
  • Quote from our price list (standard, deep, move-in/move-out, add-ons like inside the fridge and oven) and close the booking.
  • Handle "that's more than I expected" and follow up with everyone who didn't book.

Customer service

  • Reschedules, add-ons, and complaints. A missed spot means booking a reclean, not arguing.
  • Keep every client's notes right: gate codes, parking, pets, what they care about.

Dispatch

  • Match each booked clean with a cleaner, confirm them the day before and the morning of.
  • When a cleaner cancels at 7 AM for a 9 AM job, find a replacement fast and tell the client before they notice.

MUST HAVE

  • 1+ year as a VA, CSR, booker or dispatcher for a residential cleaning company. Tell us which company type and roughly how many cleaners and jobs a week you handled.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with a clear, neutral accent. Our clients are in Miami and should feel like they called someone local. We judge this from your voice message.
  • You've quoted cleaning jobs by bedrooms/bathrooms or square feet, and you know the difference between a standard, deep and move-out clean.
  • At your computer the whole shift, replying in under 1 minute. Reliable internet plus a backup, a quiet spot and a headset.

BIG PLUS

  • You've used cleaning software: Booking Koala, ZenMaid, Launch27, Jobber, Housecall Pro or MaidCentral
  • Thumbtack, Angi, Yelp or Google Local Services leads
  • Quo/OpenPhone or another texting/calling app
  • You know who TJR is and keep up with US pop culture

HOW TO APPLY
We read every application ourselves. If it reads like ChatGPT wrote it, we skip it. Write like you'd text a friend; typos are fine. Skip a step and we won't read the rest.

1. Subject line: "Vassal Cleaning VA – [your name]"
2. Your cleaning experience in 3–4 sentences: what company type and where, how long, how many cleaners and jobs a week, and what software you used.
3. A 60–90 second voice message (Vocaroo, Google Drive or Loom). A lead calls: "How much for a deep clean, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, about 1,800 sq ft?" Give a price (make one up), then they say "hmm, that's more than I expected." Show us what you say next.
4. In 1–2 sentences: a client texts that the cleaner missed the baseboards and the shower glass. What do you text back?
5. In 1–2 sentences: a cleaner texts at 7 AM that she can't make her 9 AM job. What do you do first?
6. Who is TJR? One sentence, no Googling. Wrong answers are fine.
7. Confirm you can work 9 AM – 6 PM US Eastern, Monday to Friday.

Shortlisted applicants get a short paid test.
