Video Editor for YouTube (Long Form + Shorts), Tennis Fitness Brand

Type: Freelance, paid per completed video
Pay: $40 per long form video, rising to $60 after consistent quality. $6 per short form clip. Paid once each video is approved.
Content: Mostly talking head coaching videos (10-25 mins) with b-roll, captions and simple graphics
Volume: around 1-2 long form videos and 3-5 shorts a week, sent as they're ready

About us
CourtFit helps tennis players improve their serve, mobility and strength through online coaching. We're growing our YouTube channel and need a skilled editor to turn raw talking head footage into engaging, high-retention videos.

What you'll do

• Edit long form YouTube videos (10-25 mins) from raw talking head coaching footage
• Cut short form clips (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok) from the long form videos
• Add captions, b-roll, zooms, sound design, music and simple graphics
• Pace edits for viewer retention, with a strong hook in the first 30 seconds
• Up to 2 rounds of revisions per video are included in the rate
• Turn long form videos around within 48-72 hours

What we're looking for

• Experience editing YouTube talking head or coaching content, with a portfolio of long form videos
• Strong Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve skills (After Effects is a bonus)
• Understanding of YouTube retention, hooks and storytelling
• Experience with short form vertical edits and animated captions
• Good English communication and reliable internet
• Bonus: fitness, sports or coaching content experience
