Remote Residential Construction Estimator – Philippines | Flexible Hourly Work

Mansour Building Services is a residential building company based in Sydney, Australia, specialising in custom new homes, duplexes, renovations and extensions.

We’re looking for an experienced Philippines-based estimator to support our estimating workload remotely. This is an hourly role, with work provided as needed, depending on our project pipeline.

About the role

You will work directly with the business owner, learning our existing estimating processes, templates and construction methods. We’re looking for someone reliable and detail-oriented who can become a valued ongoing member of our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications and schedules.
• Preparing accurate quantity take-offs and detailed estimates across all residential construction trades.
• Preparing trade scopes and organising supplier and subcontractor quote comparisons.
• Identifying missing information, scope gaps, exclusions and items requiring clarification.
• Entering and maintaining estimates in Wunderbuild using our established structure and rates.
• Learning and following our processes while helping improve estimating efficiency and accuracy.

Experience and skills

• Previous estimating experience in the Australian residential construction market is essential.
• Experience with custom new homes, duplexes and similar residential projects.
• Wunderbuild or Buildxact experience is highly regarded. We use Wunderbuild and can provide guidance on our setup and processes.
• Strong ability to read architectural and structural engineering drawings.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication and the confidence to ask questions rather than make unsupported assumptions.
• Ability to work independently, meet agreed deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

Working arrangement

• Remote, based in the Philippines.
• Paid hourly for agreed work, with hours varying according to workload.
• Potential for an ongoing working relationship with the right person.
