About the Role

PART-TIME VIDEO EDITOR & SOCIAL MEDIA VA (AI-ASSISTED)

I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to turn my existing coaching calls, workshops, and educational recordings into engaging social media content.

I run an established online education business focused on Amazon book publishing.

HOW IT WORKS

Every week, I record live coaching sessions and workshops. My AI assistant helps identify the best moments, timestamps, hooks, captions, and content ideas.

Your job is to take that material, turn it into polished videos and social posts, and get everything published.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Turn existing recordings into engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok videos
  • Add strong opening hooks, subtitles, clean cuts, and simple branding
  • Create longer YouTube videos from recordings when appropriate
  • Schedule and publish content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X
  • Format and publish AI-generated written posts
  • Organize content and maintain a simple publishing tracker

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience editing short-form videos (CapCut, Descript, Premiere Pro, etc.)
  • Excellent English comprehension
  • Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, subtitles, and viewer retention
  • Experience repurposing podcasts, webinars, or coaching recordings
  • Comfortable working with AI-generated content briefs
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently

HOURS & COMPENSATION

5 hours per week to start.

$8–$10 USD/hour, depending on experience.

This is an ongoing opportunity for the right person, beginning with a paid trial. Hours may increase as the system grows.

HOW TO APPLY

Please include:

1. Two examples of short-form videos you've personally edited, ideally from podcasts, webinars, or educational content.
2. The editing software you use.
3. Your hourly rate.
4. Your experience scheduling and publishing across social platforms.
5. How many polished 30–90-second clips you could realistically produce in five hours when timestamps and content briefs are provided.

Start your application with the words "PUBLISHING CONTENT" so I know you've read the description.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
