*** AI Systems and Operations Specialist ***

We run two retail stores and wholesale operations in Houston, Texas. We already use AI to work through business problems, review records, develop procedures, and improve our websites. We need someone to work directly with us and turn that work into systems our team can use.

You’ll help take an idea or recurring problem from discussion through to a working solution. That means understanding the work, choosing an approach, building and testing it, documenting it, and helping staff use it.

Your first project will be to improve our inventory reporting and follow-up process: understand how staff submit counts, make discrepancies and next steps visible, and test the process with the team. The goal is a process people can follow and maintain, with unresolved issues tracked through to resolution.

The work includes connecting staff reports with follow-up tasks, building dashboards with verified numbers, creating procedures and training, and checking that problems get resolved. You’ll also handle routine Shopify updates, including products, collections, pages, and images.

You need fluent spoken and written English, experience using AI and spreadsheets for real business work, and the ability to explain what you built and how you checked it. You should have built a working automation and be able to explain what it does, how you tested it, and how you handled failures. You also need hands-on experience managing Shopify products, collections, and pages. Lightspeed, retail, inventory, or wholesale experience is helpful.

Full-time, 40 hours per week: eight working hours each weekday, scheduled within 8 am–6 pm Houston, Texas time.

Pay is US$7–10 per hour, based on demonstrated ability, paid every Friday through PayPal.
