Full-Time Virtual Assistant / Replit Developer — Trucking Dispatch Platform

About the Project

I am building a trucking dispatch and logistics management platform called Family Dispatch & Logistics. I am looking for a reliable, motivated person who can help build the platform using Replit and AI-assisted development tools.

I want to find someone interested in a long-term working relationship. The initial focus will be building and testing the website and software. As the platform develops, the role may transition into assisting with daily trucking dispatch operations.

Responsibilities

Phase 1: Website and Software Development

• Help build and improve our trucking dispatch platform using Replit and AI coding tools.
• Develop and test dashboards, pages, forms, and user workflows.
• Help implement load management, driver information, fleet records, and customer and broker records.
• Assist with owner and driver portals, including load status updates.
• Help test features, identify bugs, and document problems.
• Coordinate development tasks and provide regular progress updates.
• Follow requirements carefully and keep the project organized.

Phase 2: Testing and Business Operations

• Test the platform from the perspectives of company owners, dispatchers, and drivers.
• Help organize business records, documents, and spreadsheets.
• Assist with operational procedures and user documentation.
• Help ensure that each trucking company can access only its own authorized information.

Phase 3: Truck Dispatching

Once the platform is established and training is complete, responsibilities may expand to include:

• Communicating with drivers and tracking load progress.
• Coordinating pickup and delivery schedules.
• Updating load statuses and maintaining accurate records.
• Organizing shipping documents and delivery paperwork.
• Communicating professionally with customers and brokers.
• Reporting delays, problems, and other operational issues.

Required Qualifications

• Strong spoken and written English.
• Experience building websites or web applications.
• Experience using Replit, AI coding assistants, or similar development tools.
• Basic knowledge of frontend and backend development.
• Ability to test software, identify errors, and solve problems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Reliable internet access and availability during agreed U.S. business hours.
• Willingness to learn trucking dispatching and logistics operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trucking, transportation, auto hauling, or dispatching.
• Experience with databases, authentication, and user permissions.
• Experience building dashboards and business management software.
• Familiarity with Git, software testing, and secure handling of business information.
• Experience working independently while providing regular updates.

Compensation and Working Arrangement

My target budget is up to $1,200 per month, depending on qualifications, experience, and agreed working hours. Please state your expected monthly compensation and availability in your application.
