Position: Virtual Medical Scribe
Location: Philippines (Remote)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 hours daily (20 hours per week)
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Virtual Medical Scribe to assist a U.S.-based medical provider with clinical documentation and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.

Prepare medical progress notes, including HPI, ROS, physical examination findings, assessment, and plan.

Assist with new patient evaluations and follow-up visits.

Update patient medical histories, medication lists, and allergies.

Review laboratory results, diagnostic reports, and medical records for documentation purposes.

Enter clinical information into electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Prepare documentation for physician review and approval.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a medical scribe or medical documentation assistant.

Knowledge of general medical terminology, anatomy, and common medical conditions.

Experience working with U.S. healthcare providers.

Familiarity with EHR systems.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Strong typing, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Reliable internet connection and a private workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

Nursing or allied health background.

Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or family medicine.

Knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding.

Experience with medical transcription or AI-assisted documentation.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day. Must be available during agreed-upon U.S. working hours.
