Video Editor (Direct Response Ads) - Ecommerce Food Brand

We're Paldy, an ecommerce brand selling high-protein cereal. We sell across 20+ European countries and we grow through paid social, so our ads are the business. Our website: ----------

We're looking for a Video Editor.

You take our scripts and hooks and cut them into short-form video ads. You edit in your own tool and deliver clean clips. Our internal tool assembles the variations and translates them into 20 European languages, so one edit ends up running across the continent.

What you'll do:

🎬 Cut short-form video ads for Facebook and Instagram from our scripts
🎙️ Generate the voiceovers in our Text To Speech tool
📦 Deliver each hook and script as its own clip. No burnt-in text, no subtitles, no sound effects, the tool adds those
🔍 Find the B-roll you need. We won't hand you every clip
📐 Keep everything important inside the safe zone

What we're looking for:

✅ Experience cutting short-form direct response ads. Not weddings, not YouTube, not corporate
✅ Storytelling and pacing. The first second d ---------- whether the ad works
✅ Fast in CapCut. It's what we edit in, so the next person can pick your project up
✅ Careful with file naming and delivery. Our system is strict about it
✅ Proactive. You use your own head, spot what's missing and solve it instead of waiting to be told
✅ You own the outcome. Whether the ad actually worked matters to you, not just whether the file went out on time
⏰ Deadlines are not optional. Every ad has a delivery date and you hit it, every time. If something is going to be late, you tell us before the deadline, not after
🤖 We use AI every day and you will too. But we don't want AI slop. If you use it, we expect the result to be unnoticeable and professional

If you do a bit of everything, this probably isn't the right fit. We're looking for someone who is genuinely good at this one thing.

$700/month. Fully remote, work from anywhere in the world. Performance bonuses on top.
