About the Opportunity
Alderstone Partners is representing a U.S. recruitment firm seeking an experienced Senior Legal Recruiter based in the Philippines to join its team directly and support attorney recruitment across multiple states.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with the client organization. The successful candidate will be employed directly by the client, not Alderstone Partners.
We are seeking a recruiter with demonstrated experience in the U.S. legal market, particularly in identifying, engaging, and evaluating attorneys across different legal practice areas.
The ideal candidate understands the distinctions between legal specializations, attorney seniority levels, and law firm hiring requirements. Beyond sourcing, this role requires sound candidate judgment, professional communication, discretion, and the ability to manage specialized attorney searches independently.
What You'll Do
- Source and engage qualified attorneys for U.S. law firms and legal practices, primarily across multiple states.
- Conduct targeted searches for Associate Attorneys, Senior Associates, Counsel, Partners, and other legal professionals based on client requirements.
- Identify candidates with relevant practice area experience, professional credentials, jurisdictional admissions, and appropriate levels of seniority.
- Conduct candidate outreach through LinkedIn, email , phone, professional networks, and other approved sourcing channels.
- Screen prospective candidates to assess their legal practice background, years of experience, bar admissions, compensation expectations, career interests, and geographic preferences.
- Develop and maintain attorney pipelines across assigned legal specializations.
- Conduct Boolean searches, competitor research, and targeted talent mapping within law firms and legal markets.
- Evaluate candidate alignment with specific practice groups, client requirements, and professional backgrounds.
- Manage multiple attorney searches and maintain consistent candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interviews and communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, law firm representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, confidential information, recruitment notes, and pipeline updates within ATS or CRM systems.
- Support candidates throughout the interview and offer process while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Deliver consistent recruitment activity and results without compromising candidate quality.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience recruiting attorneys or legal professionals for the U.S. market.
- Previous experience supporting U.S. law firms, legal recruitment agencies, executive search firms, or specialized legal staffing organizations.
- Strong understanding of attorney recruitment, including legal practice areas, professional qualifications, and law firm hiring structures.
- Experience sourcing and screening attorneys across different seniority levels.
- Familiarity with U.S. bar admission requirements and their relevance to attorney hiring.
- Ability to distinguish between legal specializations and evaluate candidates beyond general legal industry experience.
- Strong direct sourcing, Boolean search, and candidate outreach capabilities.
- Experience identifying passive candidates and developing relationships with legal professionals.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Confidence communicating directly with U.S. attorneys, law firm representatives, and hiring stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple searches independently.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, recruiting databases, and other sourcing tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive candidate and client information.
- Availability to support U.S. business hours based on client requirements.
