This is not a task-based SEO role.

This is an opportunity to own and build the Organic Growth Division of a fast-scaling agency.

The Mission

Within 3 months:

Increase organic traffic across client accounts by 30–50%
Secure consistent top 3 map pack rankings
Position clients to appear inside AI-generated search answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews)
Build scalable SOPs for our internal SEO department

You will be accountable for results — not activity.

Core Responsibilities
Technical & On-Page SEO Mastery:
Conduct full technical audits (crawlability, indexation, CWV)
Optimize WordPress (Elementor preferred)
Implement schema (LocalBusiness, FAQ, Medical, Service, etc.)
Improve Core Web Vitals
Build internal link architectures
Develop conversion-focused service page structures

Local SEO Domination:
Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles
Improve map pack rankings in competitive metro areas
Build and manage citation ecosystems
Implement reputation & review strategies
Create geo-targeted content clusters

AI Search Optimization (GEO / AEO):
Structure content to increase AI citation probability
Optimize for conversational queries
Build entity authority for providers & practices
Engineer FAQ sections for AI extraction
Track AI visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity
Stay ahead of AI search shifts

Content & Authority Strategy:
Design content silos
Build topical authority clusters
Identify revenue-driving keyword gaps
Oversee writers (or write high-level briefs)
Develop link acquisition strategy

Performance Accountability:
Monthly ranking & traffic reporting
Clear KPIs tied to lead growth
Continuous testing & refinement
Document and refine SOPs

Required Experience:
4+ years proven SEO experience
Documented ranking improvements in competitive markets
Demonstrated map pack wins
Strong technical SEO knowledge
Experience with WordPress

Experience with:
Ahrefs / SEMrush
GSC
GA4
Screaming Frog
Strong understanding of EEAT

Strongly Preferred:
Dental / medical SEO experience
Experience optimizing for AI Overviews
Entity-based SEO knowledge
Schema implementation expertise
Understanding of conversion psychology
