Ecommerce Bookkeeper for US Supplement Brand (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon)

We are a US company running a 7-figure online supplement brand. Most of our revenue comes from subscriptions with recurring billing.

We are looking for a bookkeeper who keeps our books clean and closes every month on time. This is ongoing, long-term work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Categorize and reconcile every transaction, every month
• Sources: Shopify, CheckoutChamp, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon Seller Central and a US business bank account
• Reconcile payment processor payouts, including fees, refunds, chargebacks and reserves
• Match supplier invoices and contractor payments
• Check warehouse (3PL) invoices against our order data before we pay them
• Track cost of goods, fulfillment costs, processing fees, refunds and chargebacks
• Close the month in QuickBooks Online or Xero within 10 days
• Fill a fixed monthly report that we provide

This role does not include tax filing. We already have an accountant for taxes.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Real experience doing the books for an online store that sells physical products
• Experience with subscriptions or recurring billing
• You have reconciled Stripe and PayPal payouts yourself, many times
• You understand inventory and landed cost
• You check numbers before you trust them, and you ask when something is unclear
• Good written English

If you have only done bookkeeping for service businesses or local shops, this job is not a good fit.
