About the Role

About the role

I’m an entrepreneur building multiple brands, and I’m looking for a creative, reliable person to become a long-term member of my team.

You’ll help turn my raw footage and ideas into engaging content for YouTube, social media, and my businesses. My content blends entrepreneurship, fashion, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes moments, and entertainment. I want someone who can understand my personality, learn each brand’s style, and help bring ideas to life.

What you’ll do

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing, clean audio, color correction, music, and graphics.
  • Turn longer videos into short-form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Edit business content, including product videos, promotions, brand stories, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Create YouTube thumbnails, on-screen captions, and simple branded graphics.
  • Suggest hooks, titles, and content ideas that fit my audience and voice.
  • Organize footage, project files, and finished content so everything is easy to find.
  • Maintain a content calendar and help prepare approved content for scheduling and publishing.
  • Apply feedback, meet agreed deadlines, and communicate early when something is needed.
  • Review content performance with me and suggest ways to improve future edits.

Who I’m looking for

  • A strong portfolio showing both long-form and short-form video editing.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
  • Experience creating thumbnails and graphics using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Good judgment about storytelling, hooks, pacing, and keeping viewers engaged.
  • The ability to adapt to different brands while keeping each brand’s look consistent.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.
  • A reliable computer and internet connection capable of handling video projects.
  • Someone comfortable taking initiative and working independently once the direction is clear.
  • Experience with fashion, lifestyle, entrepreneurship, product marketing, or personal brands is a plus.

How we’ll work together

We’ll agree on weekly priorities, turnaround times, and a realistic workload based on the complexity of each project. You’ll receive brand references and creative direction, with room to contribute your own ideas.

Brand assets and logos must be used exactly as provided unless a change is specifically approved. Unreleased content, business information, and account access must remain confidential.

What success looks like

Consistent, polished content that feels like me, represents my businesses well, and gets delivered on schedule. I’m looking for a teammate who takes ownership, brings ideas, and helps the content get better over time.

How to apply
Please send:

1. A short introduction and why this role interests you.
2. Your portfolio, including at least two long-form videos and three short-form clips. Explain what you personally handled.
3. Examples of thumbnails or business content you’ve created.
4. The editing tools you use.
5. Your availability, time zone, earliest start date, and expected full-time compensation.
6. Your typical turnaround time for a 10–15-minute YouTube video when supplied with organized footage.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a small, paid editing assignment.
I’m looking for someone who wants to grow with the team and take pride in what we create together.
