About Razr Media

Razr Media is a U.S.-based media production company specializing in real estate photography, cinematic property videos, and social media content for real estate professionals and business owners.

We're looking for an experienced, creative, and reliable video editor to join our growing team. We need someone who understands how to turn raw footage into professional, engaging videos that capture attention and tell a story.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who already has strong editing skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Edit cinematic real estate videos, property walkthroughs, and short-form social media content.

Complete approximately 2–3 videos per working day, depending on complexity and assigned workload.

Work with footage recorded in Sony S-Log and apply professional color grading.

Create engaging edits using music, transitions, sound design, captions, text animations, and B-roll where appropriate.

Follow editing instructions, reference videos, and brand guidelines.

Maintain natural-looking colors, clean audio, and professional pacing.

Make requested revisions promptly.

Organize project files and meet agreed delivery deadlines.

Requirements

Proven professional video editing experience and a strong portfolio.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Experience editing both vertical and horizontal video.

Strong color grading skills, especially with log footage.

Ability to create cinematic edits as well as engaging, fast-paced social media videos.

Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and music selection.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.

Reliable computer, internet connection, and ability to handle 4K footage.

Good written English communication.

Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.

Bonus skills: After Effects, motion graphics, masking, speed ramping, AI-assisted video effects, and real estate editing experience.

Compensation

$13.75 USD per hour

Hours will depend on available projects and performance. There is potential for consistent, long-term work as our client base grows.

IMPORTANT: Mandatory Editing Test

Every applicant must complete a short editing test and submit it with their application.

We want to see your actual editing ability, not just your portfolio.

The test will contain a maximum of 10 video clips. That's it.

You will receive a small selection of raw clips and create one short, polished video demonstrating your editing style, creativity, pacing, color grading, and sound design.

This is intentionally a small test. We are NOT asking you to edit a full property walkthrough, a large project, or hundreds of clips.

You have creative freedom. Show us what you can do with the footage provided.

Applications without a completed editing test will not be considered.
