Direct Response Copywriter for a Christian Women's Brand (Ad Scripts and Advertorials)

Hi! We're a small Christian brand. We sell a faith book and journal for women, and most of our buyers are Christian women aged 45 to 65 in the US. We sell with Facebook video ads, native ads and advertorials.

We're looking for a direct response copywriter who can write like a real Christian woman in her 50s or 60s talking to a friend.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Write video ad scripts (60-130 seconds) for our AI UGC ads, spoken by an older Christian woman
• Write native ads (3,000+ words) and advertorials (7,000+ words)
• Study proven ads and advertorials from other brands that we send you, break down why they work, and write ours using the same structure
• We give you the hooks (taken from proven, long-running ads). You write everything that comes after the hook.
• Use AI (Claude/ChatGPT) to research and draft faster, then rewrite it so it sounds 100% human
• Revise based on ad results. We tell you what worked and what didn't.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Direct response experience: samples of ads, scripts, advertorials or sales pages you wrote
• Near-native English, conversational and warm, never corporate
• The ability to write in the voice of an older American woman (simple words, short sentences, real-life details)
• Comfort taking feedback and rewriting fast

NICE TO HAVE

• You've written for women 45+, faith, self-help or wellness brands
• You know the classics (Breakthrough Advertising, Sugarman, Cashvertising, etc.)
• You've written long-form advertorials that ran on paid traffic

PAID TRIAL
Shortlisted applicants get one short paid task: a 90-second video ad script in the voice of a 58-year-old Christian grandmother, written from an ad we provide. We pay you for it, whether we hire you or not.
