Sales Development Representative (SDR) U.S. Executive Career Services | Part-time | Philippines
Confidential employer
About Executive Career Partners
Executive Career Partners (ECP) is an established U.S.-based executive career services company with 40 years of experience helping accomplished professionals and senior leaders advance their careers and navigate career transitions.
As our sales and marketing organization grows, we're looking for a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in the Philippines to engage prospective clients and schedule qualified consultations with our Advisors.
This is not an entry-level virtual assistant or administrative role, nor is it a hard-closing sales position. It is a client-facing prospect engagement role requiring excellent communication, professionalism, organization, and follow-through.
The Role
Your primary responsibility is to engage, qualify, and book prospective clients for consultations with ECP Advisors.
Most prospects have already expressed interest in ECP through our marketing. You'll connect with them through a combination of phone, email , and text/SMS, conduct surface-level qualification, and schedule appropriate prospects with our Advisors.
You'll also confirm appointments, reduce no-shows, reschedule cancellations, follow up with unresponsive leads, and occasionally re-engage older opportunities. As the role grows, outreach may also include social media and direct messaging.
The goal is not to pressure or close prospects. It's to create professional conversations, understand why they reached out, determine whether an Advisor conversation makes sense, and help qualified prospects take the next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and professionally to new inbound leads
- Contact prospects through phone, email , and text/SMS
- Conduct surface-level discovery and qualification
- Book qualified appointments directly onto Advisor calendars
- Consistently follow up with prospects who haven't responded
- Confirm appointments and help maximize show rates
- Reschedule cancellations and no-shows
- Re-engage aged leads and previous opportunities when appropriate
- Maintain accurate prospect records and follow-up activity in Salesforce
- Coordinate with Advisors/Closers regarding scheduled prospects
- Manage scheduling through Google Calendar and related tools
- Assist with CRM organization, lead management, reporting, and related sales support as needed
- Potentially expand into social media/DM outreach and deeper qualification over time
What Success Looks Like
The #1 measure of success is qualified appointments booked for ECP Advisors, along with the quality and show rate of those appointments.
Performance will also be measured by consistent lead follow-up, appointment confirmations and rescheduling, professional prospect communication, accurate CRM management, and strong follow-through.
Specific activity and performance targets will evolve as ECP's sales and marketing organization grows.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is confident, professional, persistent, organized, highly coachable, and comfortable communicating with accomplished U.S. professionals and executives.
You don't need to be an experienced U.S.-level salesperson, but this is not an entry-level appointment-setting position. You should have previous client-facing experience and be comfortable initiating conversations and following up until you receive an answer.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales, customer service, appointment setting, business development, or other client-facing experience preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English with clear, professional communication
- Confident phone presence and ability to communicate comfortably with Director, VP, and C-suite professionals
- Comfortable with outbound calls, email , and text/SMS follow-up
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills
- Persistent without being pushy or overly sales-oriented
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using CRM and scheduling technology
- Salesforce experience preferred; other CRM experience is valuable
- Comfortable with Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, phone/SMS platforms, and similar business tools
- Social media/DM outreach experience helpful but not required
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote-work environment
- Coachable, accountable, and able to learn new processes quickly
Schedule
This is a part-time remote contractor position based in the Philippines that will transition to full-time.
Typical hours will align with approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time to allow direct communication with U.S.-based prospects. Some flexibility may be available depending on business needs and circumstances.
Growth Opportunity
ECP has been serving professionals and executives for approximately 40 years, and we're continuing to grow our sales and marketing organization.
For the right person, this role can expand beyond appointment setting. Strong performers may have opportunities to take on deeper prospect qualification, higher-level client conversations, sales and business development, lead management, training, and eventually leadership responsibilities.
We're looking for someone who can succeed in the role we're hiring for today while having the ability and ambition to grow with ECP.
