Creative Virtual Assistant | Video Editor & Graphic Designer
Confidential employer
I'm Daniel, a professional magician and event host based in London, UK. I'm growing Bower Magic and looking for a creative, reliable assistant for 10 hours per week, with potential to increase.
This is a CREATIVE role, not a traditional admin VA role. Video editing is the main priority, followed by graphic design.
IMPORTANT: THE STYLE I'M LOOKING FOR
Please watch these 4 editing references BEFORE applying:

I'm specifically looking for someone who can produce work in a similar style. Ideally, you've already edited something comparable. If your previous work is different, but you're confident you can achieve this style because of your editing experience, you're welcome to apply. I'm not looking to train someone in video editing from scratch.
For graphic design, here's an example of my current branding and presentation style:

I have an established branding pack with fonts, colours, logos and design guidelines. You'll be expected to use it consistently, while bringing your own ideas and creative judgement.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
1. Video editing (main priority)
- Review raw footage from live events and identify the best moments and audience reactions.
- Create engaging short videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Edit with strong hooks, storytelling, pacing, captions and sound.
- Turn longer recordings into multiple useful pieces of content.
- Organise footage and maintain a library of usable clips.
2. Graphic design and social media
- Create social media graphics, testimonials, presentations and promotional materials.
- Follow my existing brand identity and design references.
- Repurpose content for different platforms.
- Suggest creative ideas and help maintain a consistent visual style.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Strong short form video editing skills, ideally with work similar to the linked references.
- Good graphic design skills and an eye for consistent branding.
- Experience with a professional editing workflow, whether in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or another tool.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Reliability, independence and good creative judgement.
- Ability to choose compelling clips without me selecting every moment.
- Openness to feedback and revisions.
Bonus:
- Experience with entertainers, events or personal brands.
- Social media publishing experience.
- Canva, Photoshop and useful AI creative tools.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
- 10 hours per week, with scope to increase hours.
- Fully remote.
- Flexible hours, with communication during UK daytime.
- Long term opportunity.
HOW TO APPLY
Please complete this application form:
----------
You'll be asked for your CV, showreel, up to three videos closest to the reference style, an additional favourite video if you wish, and examples of graphic design work.
Then send me a quick hello on the onlinejobs portal 😊
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid creative trial using the same reference materials and raw footage followed by final interview.
I'm much more interested in whether you can produce the style I'm looking for than how flashy your portfolio is.
Thanks
Daniel
