Experienced Reddit Content Writer | AI & Multi-Niche

We are looking for an experienced Reddit Content Writer with a substantial portfolio of Reddit posts and comments. You must understand Reddit culture, use AI tools effectively, and turn research and AI-assisted drafts into accurate, natural English suited to each subreddit.

TOPICS
Our content covers AI and technology, pets and animal care, home and household products, solar energy, lathes and machining, e-commerce, SaaS, and travel. You must be comfortable researching the relevant communities and their current rules across these areas. Tell us where you have direct writing experience and where you would need additional research.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research each target subreddit before drafting: community rules, pinned guidance, permitted topics, promotional restrictions, flair requirements, and audience expectations.
• Write original Reddit posts, helpful comments, discussion prompts, and reply drafts tailored to the specific community.
• Use AI tools for research support, ideas, outlines, and drafts; independently verify facts and substantially edit the final copy.
• Adapt tone for technical, educational, practical, and conversational discussions without producing generic or repetitive text.
• Check technical claims carefully, particularly animal care, solar equipment, and machining topics, and flag anything requiring specialist review.
• Follow briefs, feedback, approval workflows, and deadlines. Deliver writing with the intended subreddit and the rules checked.
• Keep up with Reddit and subreddit rule changes and explain how they affect your writing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive hands-on Reddit writing experience, demonstrated through a portfolio and specific examples of your own contribution.
• Excellent written English and strong editing, research, and fact-checking skills.
• Familiarity with AI writing tools and the ability to explain what you changed and verified after using them.
• Working knowledge of community rules in the listed sectors and the ability to identify gaps before accepting a brief.
• Reliable communication and an organized revision process.

We expect useful, authentic contributions and appropriate disclosure of commercial relationships. Do not fabricate personal experiences, reviews, or product use, plagiarize, or produce spam. This position focuses on writing and community research; account operations are handled separately.

ARRANGEMENT
Gig / freelance, initially around 10 hours per week.
USD 5 per hour.
Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid writing test.
