About Rockleigh Services
Rockleigh Services is an Australian-owned earthmoving and civil construction contractor based in South Australia. We work with private clients, builders, developers and commercial businesses on projects ranging from small earthworks through to subdivisions and civil infrastructure.
Our work includes land subdivisions; bulk earthworks and site preparation; roads, access roads and driveways; stormwater drainage, pits, culverts and headwalls; underground water and electrical service trenches; retaining walls and gabion walls; civil concrete; building and shed pads; demolition; and general earthmoving. Our fleet includes excavators, bulldozers, graders, skid steers, rollers and specialised equipment.
About the position
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to provide reliable and detail-oriented pricing, quotes and proposals to support the ongoing growth and success of Rockleigh Services. The role involves interpreting drawings, completing accurate take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQs), preparing cost breakdowns, coordinating with suppliers and our internal team to prepare and submit professional quotations and tenders.
This is a technical estimating position, not simply data entry. The successful applicant must understand how civil and earthmoving works are undertaken, recognise gaps in documentation, and take responsibility for the accuracy of their work. We encourage you to ask questions rather than guess.
