Construction Bookkeeper / Accountant (FOUNDATION ERP)

Rate: $10 - $13/hour, depending on experience (USD, paid bi-weekly)
Position: Construction Bookkeeper / Accountant (FOUNDATION ERP)
Schedule: Standard US Central Business Hours

Need a hands-on, plug-and-play professional to manage full-cycle job cost accounting, progress billings, and financial project administration for a fast-growing commercial electrical contractor in Dallas. You will code vendor invoices, track job budgets, manage progress/AIA billings, process change orders, and handle accounts payable/receivable using our Foundation Software ERP.

Key Requirements
-3+ years of experience working directly as a bookkeeper or accountant for a commercial electrical or specialty trade subcontractor.
-Direct, hands-on mastery of Foundation Software ERP (Job Cost, AP/AR, AIA Billing modules) within the last 1–2 years is non-negotiable.
-Comprehensive job cost accounting background: proficiency in CSI/Division 26 cost coding, WIP reporting, retainage, G702/G703 AIA progress billing, and unit-priced billing structures.
-End-to-end accounts payable and receivable experience: matching POs to vendor bills, reconciling vendor statements, managing conditional/unconditional lien releases, and collecting customer payments.
-Strong financial project administration experience: tracking GC change orders, logging project costs against budgets, and managing trade permits and inspection milestones across DFW.
-Experience with commercial electrical projects, retrofits, high-density residential, or multifamily electrical builds is a strong plus.
