Accountant & Business Growth Adviser

I am hiring for an experienced Accountant to provide financial oversight, tax preparation, budgeting, and strategic advice that supports sustainable growth.

What you’ll do:
Oversee and review Xero reports, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by our bookkeeper
Prepare quarterly BAS and end-of-financial-year accounts and tax documentation (for review and lodgment by a registered professional, where required)
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, federal tax requirements, and Western Australian state obligations
Build annual budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and financial projections
Monitor expenditure, staffing costs, profitability, and financial risks
Deliver concise monthly reports and recommendations directly to the Director
Support our three-year growth strategy and future sale readiness, including valuation and due diligence records

What you bring:
A relevant accounting qualification
Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and business advisory work
Strong Xero skills
Working knowledge of Australian accounting, taxation, and Western Australian state requirements
The ability to communicate financial insights clearly and concisely

Bonus points for: CPA or CA membership.
