YouTube Politics Channel Manager & Video Editor

Job description:

Hi! I run a YouTube channel posting clips from US political hearings and news (Congress, Senate, press conferences). I’m looking for one reliable person to edit 3–5 videos a day and help manage the channel.

Video editing and thumbnails:

Find the best moments from new hearings and political news (I’ll show you where to look)
Download the clips and trim them to the best parts
Add text on screen in CapCut
Make a thumbnail for each video in Canva using my template (split faces, quote in big white text on a black bar)
Write a catchy title for each video (I’ll give you examples and a formula)

Channel management:

Upload and schedule videos at the best times
Write descriptions and tags for every video
Reply to comments and pin a top comment on each video
Post on the Community tab
Check analytics every day and see which videos and thumbnails perform best
Send me a short weekly report (views, top videos, ideas to improve)
Watch competitor channels and tell me what’s working for them

What I’m looking for:

Experience with CapCut and Canva
Experience managing a YouTube channel (YouTube Studio, analytics, scheduling)
Good English, so you can pick out the strongest quotes from a clip
Fast, consistent, and good at communicating
Bonus if you follow US politics

Pay: $300 USD per month, part-time (about 4–5 hours a day), plus bonuses when videos hit view goals.
