Long-Form YouTube Video Editor — Modern, Narrative-Led Editing

We’re looking for an experienced long-form YouTube editor to edit 10–15 minute videos in a modern, polished style similar to Daniel Priestley / Daniel Illes content.

This is NOT a clipping role and it is not an Opus Clips / AI editing role. This is not a social media clip role.

We need someone who understands how to edit an actual long-form YouTube video and can take some narrative ownership of the final piece.

We will provide the recorded content and an overview of the key ideas we want to communicate. You will be editing high quality content with good audio. Your job is to watch the material, understand what is being said, identify what deserves emphasis, and build the visual edit around it.

The editing style should include things like picture-in-picture, clean modern layouts, purposeful punch-ins, supporting text and graphics, strong modern captions, visual callouts, screenshots or supporting material where appropriate, and smooth pacing without jarring jump cuts. Exactly like the reference videos.

We want an editor who can make decisions rather than simply follow timestamps.

Each video will also include rounds of revisions, so you must be comfortable receiving feedback and refining the edit.
This is a project-based role, but you’ll work as part of our production team and there is potential for consistent ongoing work.
