🚛 Virtual Assistant – Freight Dispatch & Logistics (Remote) – Get In On the Ground Floor!

Who we are

H.OM.A Logistics is a freight dispatch and logistics company in our exciting early days, helping owner-operators and small carriers find great loads and keep their trucks moving. We're building something special from the ground up, and we're looking for an energetic virtual assistant who wants to grow right alongside us.

What you'll be doing (and loving)

• Hunting down the best loads on DAT, Truckstop, and 123Loadboard
• Working the phones with brokers to negotiate rates and lock in great deals
• Prepping rate confirmations, carrier packets, and BOLs like a pro
• Keeping shipments on track with timely check-call updates
• Guiding carriers through onboarding paperwork (MC/DOT, W-9, insurance)
• Keeping our records, invoices, and spreadsheets squeaky clean
• Being the friendly, professional voice on our calls, email s, and texts

You'll thrive here if you are

• Ideally bringing at least a year of experience in dispatch, brokerage, or trucking admin—preferred, but not required if you're a quick learner
• Strong on load planning and routes
• A strong communicator and confident negotiator who loves closing a deal
• Solid on US geography—you know where the states are and how they connect
• Skilled at routing and mapping efficient trips to keep miles down and profits up
• Super organized and great at multitasking, juggling several loads and deadlines with a smile
• A quick problem-solver who stays calm under pressure when a load falls through or a truck breaks down
• Comfortable with tech like load boards and TMS software
• Good with numbers—rate per mile, margins, and quick math come naturally
• Excited to take ownership and grow with a young company
• Set up with reliable internet, a quiet space, and a headset
