BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE - REFERRAL PARTNERSHIPS
Remote | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Full-time (UK business hours)

WAGE / SALARY
$300 per month fixed + $50-$100 for every referral that becomes a paying client (unlimited potential)

HOURS PER WEEK
40 hours, mostly UK business hours (approximately 9am-5pm UK, or 4pm-midnight Philippine time)

ABOUT US
We're a growing independent UK estate agency doing sales, lettings, property management and property maintenance. We're part of a global luxury real estate network and its exclusive lettings provider in the UK.

We have the brand and the back office. What we need now is a network of local partners who send us clients.

THE ROLE
Your job is to build and run our local referral partner network, reporting directly to the boss.

You will find tradespeople and local businesses, sign them up to a formal partnership where we pay them for sending us sales, lettings, management and maintenance clients, and then keep those partners active.

Tradespeople and local businesses spend their days in people's homes and talk to homeowners and landlords all the time. We want to be the first agent they think of.

WHO YOU WILL CONTACT
Builders, plumbers, electricians, roofers, decorators, locksmiths, cleaners, removal firms, gardeners and many other trades, plus businesses such as salons, solicitors, mortgage brokers and surveyors.

You will find them on Google Maps and other directories.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build lists of local businesses and trades in our target areas
• Contact them by phone, WhatsApp, email and messaging, around 100 outreaches a day
• Explain the partnership and get them signed up
• Process the paperwork: send the partnership agreement, collect the signed copy and record everything in our CRM
• Keep a clear log of who has signed up, who is active and who has referred
• Follow up regularly with every partner: how business is going, whether they have met anyone who needs help, and how we can help them
• Send partners updates on the leads they have referred
• Identify the best partners and tell us who we should meet in person
• Come up with ideas to make the programme more attractive and more productive
• Send a weekly report: outreaches, sign-ups, active partners, referrals, results and what you would change

YOU MUST HAVE

• Clear, natural spoken English with a neutral accent, comfortable calling UK tradespeople
• Sales, business development, customer service or real estate experience
• Persistence in following up without being pushy
• Self-discipline to hit daily targets with little supervision
• Good written English and attention to detail with paperwork and records
• Reliable internet, a laptop or PC, and a quiet workspace
• Willingness to work UK business hours

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with a CRM
• Experience building referral or partner networks
• Property or construction industry experience
• Startup or small-team experience

PAY STRUCTURE
All payments are in USD, paid monthly by bank transfer.

FIXED BASE SALARY
$300 per month

HOW REFERRAL PAYMENTS WORK

• Referral payments apply to referrals from partners you recruit and manage, as recorded in our CRM, for 12 months from the date of each referral
• Referral payments are made once we have been paid
• Property sales: once the sale has completed
• Lettings: once the tenancy has started and the first rent has been received
• Maintenance: once the job has been completed and paid for
• No cap on referral earnings, so UNLIMITED EARNING POTENTIAL for high performers!
