About the Role

Video Editor (Premiere Pro) – Full-Time, Long-Term, Remote

We run faceless documentary channels on YouTube. One is in English and one is in Arabic, and we upload every day. We’re hiring a full-time editor with a great eye.

What the job actually is
You won’t edit from scratch. Every day you get a Premiere Pro project that’s already about 80% built: the voiceover, visuals, archival footage, graphics, text, subtitles, sound effects and music are all placed and timed.

Your job is the last 20%, and it’s the part that matters most: polish it until it feels like a human with taste made it.

Tighten the pacing and fix any cut that feels off
Catch visuals that don’t match what the narrator is saying, and swap them
Make sure nothing feels repetitive, templated or like a slideshow
Sometimes find and add real footage when a scene needs it
You’re the last pair of eyes before upload, so if something looks wrong, you flag it

Taste matters most here. We can teach you our system. We can’t teach someone to feel when a cut is wrong.

What to expect

One finished video per day, every day
Full training from our current editor. You’ll learn the system step by step
Files are shared through Dropbox, and you leave your notes as markers in Premiere
You’ll keep your own notes on everything you learn. Corrections are given once, and you write them down the same day
Calm, story-driven content. No flashy TikTok-style editing

This is long-term, not a gig
We’re growing to 4 channels, all uploading daily. Every new channel will need an editor.

You need

A good eye for pacing, storytelling and detail
A reliable PC and internet connection, plus a Dropbox account
Good English
Honesty: you tell us when something is wrong and never hide it

Nice to have: experience with documentary or YouTube storytelling channels, and skill at finding footage.

Pay: $300/month

To apply: send your portfolio (documentary or YouTube work preferred) and one line on why taste matters in editing. Shortlisted applicants get a short paid test edit.
[where to send it]

If you want short-term or easy, this isn’t for you. If you want to build something and grow with it, we’d love to hear from you.
