E-Commerce Operations & Customer Support

CamperNation is a UK online retailer of caravan awnings, motorhome and campervan accessories. We sell higher-value products to UK customers, shipped direct from our suppliers.

We are looking for a customer support and operations specialist to cover a team member’s maternity leave for four months, from mid-November 2026 to mid-March 2027. You will be trained by the person you are covering for, then run day-to-day order operations and customer support yourself.

Hours: Monday to Friday, UK working hours. You can choose either 8:00 to 16:30 UK time (16:00 to 00:30 Philippine time) or 9:00 to 17:30 UK time (17:00 to 01:30 Philippine time). Please only apply if you are comfortable working these hours.
Pay: $1,000 to $1,200 per month, depending on experience. This is a fixed-term contract of four months.

What you will be doing:
-Answering phone calls from UK customers and suppliers
-Replying to email s and live chat from customers and potential customers
-Handling general product and sizing enquiries, and passing more technical product questions to the business owner
-Managing orders in Shopify: checking orders, placing and confirming them with suppliers, and tracking them through to delivery
-Chasing delayed, backordered and problem orders, and keeping customers updated
-Working with couriers and suppliers on delays, damaged items and missing parcels
-Processing returns, refunds and warranty claims in line with company policy
-Keeping spreadsheets and records accurate, and sending a short weekly update

What we are looking for:
-Excellent written and spoken English, with a clear and friendly phone manner
-2 to 3 years’ experience in e-commerce customer service, order administration or a similar role
-Working knowledge of Shopify
-Very organised, and you follow every issue through until it is resolved
-Able to make sound decisions independently without constant supervision
-Stable internet with a backup (for example mobile data), a headset and a quiet place to work
-Available to start in mid-November 2026
