We work with builders, developers and homeowners on everything from single homes to multi-storey apartment buildings. We’re growing and need a dedicated estimator to join our team long-term.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate quotes from architectural drawings and window schedules. You’ll work directly with our Melbourne office and become a key part of how we win work.

What You’ll Do

Read architectural plans, elevations and window schedules to measure and count every window and opening
Produce detailed take-offs by product type (roller blinds, venetians, Romans, curtains, sheers, motorised systems, external awnings)
Calculate widths, drops, fabric usage, brackets, tracks and motors
Price jobs using our price list and prepare professional quotes
Flag missing information, clashes or unclear details before the quote goes out
Keep a clear record of all quotes and revisions
Turn around quotes to deadline, including large commercial tenders

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years’ experience as an estimator, quantity surveyor or draftsperson, ideally in blinds, curtains, windows, joinery or interior finishes
Strong ability to read architectural drawings (PDF plans, elevations, schedules)
Experience with take-off software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift or similar
Very good Excel skills
High attention to detail; you double-check your numbers
Clear written and spoken English
Reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps), backup power, and a quiet workspace
Experience with the Australian market is a big plus
