Working closely with the COO, CEO and leadership team, you will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR governance.

We are looking for someone who can think ahead, take initiative and turn ideas into action. Beyond managing HR processes, you will play a key role in shaping our workplace culture, developing our people and ensuring our company values, particularly Growth Mindset, are reflected in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from workforce planning and candidate sourcing to selection and onboarding.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline aligned with the company's values and business needs.
  • Work with department heads to identify staffing requirements and plan for future growth.

HR Policies, Governance & Compliance

  • Develop, review and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and internal processes.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment legislation and company policies.
  • Conduct regular HR audits, maintain accurate documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.

Performance Management

  • Lead the company's performance appraisal and evaluation processes.
  • Work with managers to establish clear performance expectations, KPIs and development objectives.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives and promote accountability across teams.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Develop and implement initiatives that improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage employee relations matters with fairness, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Promote open communication and proactively address workplace concerns.

Culture & Values

  • Strengthen and maintain a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Embed Cosy Hauz's core values, particularly Growth Mindset, throughout the employee experience.
  • Encourage continuous improvement, accountability, teamwork and professional growth.

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and employee capability gaps.
  • Develop and coordinate relevant learning, training and professional development programmes.
  • Support managers in developing their teams and building leadership capabilities.

Benefits & HR Administration

  • Oversee employee benefits, HR documentation and administrative processes.
  • Maintain accurate, organised and confidential employee records.
  • Ensure employees receive timely and effective HR support throughout their employment.

HR Reporting & Strategic Partnership

  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics, including recruitment, retention, attendance, engagement and performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support workforce efficiency and business decisions.
  • Partner closely with the COO and leadership team to anticipate organisational needs and implement practical HR solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated ownership across multiple HR functions.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies and employee engagement.
  • Good understanding of employment legislation, HR compliance and organisational governance.
  • Experience developing, implementing and improving HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience managing performance appraisal processes, employee benefits and HR administration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in working with senior management and supporting organisational decisions.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office and other workplace productivity tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Strategic & Commercially Minded: You understand how people decisions contribute to productivity, business performance and long-term growth.
  • Proactive & Accountable: You take initiative, anticipate challenges and follow through on commitments.
  • Hands-On & Resourceful: You are equally comfortable developing strategies and executing day-to-day HR responsibilities.
  • People-Centred: You genuinely care about employee wellbeing, development and building a supportive workplace.
  • Confident & Decisive: You exercise sound judgement, communicate clearly and are comfortable challenging ideas constructively.
  • Growth-Minded: You are adaptable, open to feedback and constantly looking for ways to improve.
  • Resilient & Organised: You can manage competing priorities and remain effective in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will help build an HR function that is structured, proactive and aligned with the company's long-term goals.

Success means creating an environment where employees understand their expectations, managers are equipped to lead effectively, HR processes are dependable, and company values are consistently reflected in everyday decisions.

Most importantly, you will become a trusted partner to leadership, helping Cosy Hauz develop a capable, engaged and high-performing workforce.

Why Join Cosy Hauz?

At Cosy Hauz, we believe that building a successful business starts with developing great people.

You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of the HR function, work closely with senior leadership and make a meaningful impact on how our organisation grows.

We value initiative, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who shares these values and is excited to help shape the next stage of our company's development.

If you're passionate about people, driven by continuous improvement and ready to build something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you.
