Short-Form Video Editor & Colourist – Instagram Reels / TikTok (Fitness & Business Personal Brand)

ABOUT ME
I'm a UK-based entrepreneur building a personal brand around two things: training in the gym and building businesses in the UK. I already have a large library of raw footage (gym sessions, day-in-the-life, business/behind-the-scenes, talking-to-camera). I need a skilled, reliable editor to turn it into scroll-stopping short-form content every single day.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Going through my raw footage and clipping it into short-form vertical videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Colour grading every clip so the feed has a consistent, premium, cinematic look
• D ---------- what works best for each clip - original audio, trending audio, voiceover, or music only
• Finding and using trending audios / sounds and current short-form formats in the fitness and business niches
• Creating 10 TRIAL REELS PER DAY (Instagram's trial reels feature) so we can test hooks, formats and audios with non-followers
• Preparing at least 1 polished reel per day for my main account, based on what performs best in trials
• Writing on-screen text hooks, captions and subtitles where needed
• Scheduling / posting content (access will be provided)
• Keeping a simple daily log of what was posted and how it performed

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience editing short-form content for Instagram Reels / TikTok - please include a portfolio
• Strong colour grading skills (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or CapCut Pro)
• A great eye for hooks, pacing, cuts, transitions and retention
• Up to date with social media trends and trending audios
• Understanding of (or interest in) fitness / gym culture and entrepreneurship content
• Fast, consistent and able to hit daily output without chasing
• Good written English and communication
• Reliable internet and a computer capable of handling 4K footage

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience growing a personal brand or creator account
• Knowledge of Instagram trial reels and reading Reels insights
• Basic thumbnail / cover design skills
• Familiarity with UK audiences and humour
