Experienced B2B Cold Caller / Appointment Setter — U.S. and Canada Market (Part-Time, Long-Term)
Confidential employer
Schedule: 12 hours/week, U.S. business hours
Start: Immediately
Initial Engagement: 14-Day Paid Trial
About the Opportunity
We are a U.S.-based B2B software business seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build our outbound sales pipeline.
Our target market consists of businesses in the live entertainment, events, and venue operations industries.
We need someone who can independently identify decision-makers, initiate professional conversations, qualify prospects, and schedule sales demonstrations.
This is a hands-on outbound sales position, not a general virtual assistant or lead-list-building role.
Your Responsibilities
- Research and identify qualified U.S. businesses within our target market.
- Find and verify contact information for owners, general managers, and business decision-makers.
- Conduct outbound cold calls during appropriate U.S. business hours.
- Send personalized prospecting email s and manage follow-up sequences.
- Identify relevant business challenges and qualify potential customers.
- Schedule confirmed sales demonstrations directly on our calendar.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, prospect notes, and follow-up tasks.
- Provide concise daily activity and results reports.
- Work independently to improve conversations and appointment conversion rates.
You are not responsible for delivering demos or closing sales. Our U.S.-based team handles those activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven B2B cold-calling or appointment-setting experience targeting U.S. businesses.
- Excellent spoken English and confident professional phone presence.
- Experience speaking directly with owners, managers, or executives.
- Proven ability to generate your own qualified prospect lists.
- Experience with CRM systems, business calling software, and lead research tools.
- Comfortable handling objections and getting past gatekeepers.
- Reliable internet, professional calling environment, and ability to work U.S. business hours.
- Strong organization and ability to work without daily micromanagement.
Experience prospecting entertainment venues, hospitality businesses, events companies, or other small and midsize businesses is a plus.
Compensation and Growth
We offer competitive hourly compensation plus bonuses for qualified appointments that are actually attended.
We are beginning with a paid 14-day trial and intend to establish a long-term working relationship with successful candidates.
How to Apply
Please answer ALL five questions:
1. How many years have you personally spent cold calling U.S. B2B decision-makers?
2. How many qualified appointments did you book and have attended during your most recent campaign?
3. How do you find business owners and verify their phone numbers without being provided a lead list?
4. What tools have you personally used for cold calling, prospect research, and CRM management?
5. If asked to reach independent entertainment venue owners in the U.S., how would you find your first 100 prospects?
Required: Include a 60–90-second English voice recording introducing yourself and explaining your B2B outbound sales experience.
Begin your application with the word VENUE2026.
Applications without answers to the screening questions or a voice recording will not be considered.
We are looking for a proven appointment setter who can operate independently and produce quality opportunities—not someone who needs to be taught how to cold call.
