Stock and Production Manager

About the Company
We are a fast-growing US direct-to-consumer supplement brand selling through Shopify and Amazon, with a large subscription customer base. Revenue has grown several times over this year and the team is scaling to match. This is a new role: you will build the process, not inherit someone else's. It starts part-time and is expected to grow into a full-time position as the business scales.

The team works a mix of hours as we have to work with Chinese manufacturers but also sometimes with EST hours. You will also work with our manufacturer and freight partners in China.

The Role

• You run the day-to-day stock system so stock-outs and supplier delays are caught early. Joe keeps the supplier relationship and final decisions; you keep the data accurate and chase.

Scope of Work

• Weekly purchase orders to the manufacturer, using an agreed reorder formula

• Shipment tracking: air waybills, sea freight, customs status and warehouse receiving counts

• OTIF (on-time, in-full) tracking and a weekly OTIF report, flagging any slip within 48 hours

Demand forecasting: weekly consumption by SKU, forecast against actual, and growth scenarios that feed the reorder formula

• Stock levels across all warehouses (including Amazon), reorder alerts and days-of-cover reporting

• Checking supplier invoices against units ordered and received, with the bookkeeper

Experience Required
3+ years in inventory, supply chain or operations for an ecommerce or consumer-goods brand
Has done demand forecasting and reorder planning, not only data entry
Has worked with overseas manufacturers (China a strong plus) and freight forwarders
Strong Google Sheets or Excel; Shopify and Amazon Seller Central a plus
Clear written English and the ability to work independently
