Job Description

We are a growing US-based company looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Medical Virtual Assistant (MedVA) to join our team.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, preferably supporting US-based healthcare providers, clinics, or medical practices.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

We want someone who can think critically, solve problems, take initiative, and communicate effectively without needing constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.

Handle incoming and outgoing calls, email s, and patient inquiries.

Maintain and update patient records using EHR/EMR systems.

Assist with patient intake, registration, and documentation.

Coordinate with healthcare providers, patients, and other medical staff.

Assist with insurance verification, referrals, and other administrative healthcare tasks.

Maintain accurate records while following HIPAA guidelines.

Support daily healthcare operations and administrative workflows.

Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and proactively communicate updates.

Provide clear updates on completed, ongoing, and pending tasks.

Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Medical Virtual Assistant (REQUIRED).

Must currently reside in Davao City (REQUIRED).

Previous experience supporting US-based healthcare providers or medical practices.

Experience using EHR/EMR platforms.

Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Comfortable handling patient calls and communicating professionally.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Tech-savvy and able to learn new software quickly.

Reliable internet connection and a quiet home working environment.

Must be available Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly Salary: $600 USD

13th Month Pay: Starting in 2027

HMO Coverage: After 6 months of employment
