Wedding Film Editor (Luxury Weddings, Long Term)

We're a luxury wedding film studio based in New Jersey. For over 12 years we've filmed 350+ weddings. Our mission is simple: help couples see, hear, and feel their day all over again.

We're growing and looking for an editor who wants to stay and grow with us, not just pick up gigs.

OUR STYLE
Luxurious, cinematic, and built on emotion. Every film should feel custom and intentional, while following a consistent structure:

• A strong opening montage (couple, details, venue) in the first 15 to 30 seconds
• The day told in order: prep, ceremony, reception, with detail shots woven in
• Audio storytelling that carries the film: vows, letters, and a bite from every toast
• Natural emotion between the couple over posed kisses, matched to the mood of the music
• 2 to 3 cinematic, uplifting songs (never poppy or generic) plus natural sound design layers
• Slow motion used sparingly, gentle push-ins on static shots, straight horizons, no repeated shots
• Emotional moments given room to breathe

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Edit highlight films - 4-8 min films - varying
• Pull the strongest audio and build a story around it
• Color using our house LUT, then refine shot by shot
• Mix and clean up audio (vows, toasts, ambient sound)
• Deliver each film within about 1 week, every time
• Communicate early if something needs attention

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Consistent ~1 week turnaround. This is the #1 thing we need, so please only apply if you can deliver on it reliably
• 2+ years editing wedding films, with a portfolio to show it
• Strong in Adobe Premiere Pro
• A storyteller's ear for audio and a musician's sense of pacing
• Comfortable with proxy workflows and large multicam projects
• Reliable internet and a computer that can handle 4K footage
• Clear, honest communication in English, and you take feedback well
