About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, creative and fast-paced YouTube Video Editor to join our personal brand media team.

You'll be working directly with an Australian entrepreneur, creating entertaining, documentary-style YouTube videos covering business, lifestyle, travel, challenges, entertainment and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Our goal is to produce 2 engaging YouTube videos every week, generally between 10–20 minutes each.

You'll receive hours of completely uncut raw footage filmed throughout the week.

Your responsibility will be to watch the footage, identify the best moments, develop entertaining storylines and produce polished YouTube videos that keep viewers watching.

We're looking for someone who understands YouTube storytelling, not simply someone who can cut footage together.

Key Responsibilities

Review large amounts of completely unedited raw footage.

Independently identify entertaining moments, interesting conversations and potential storylines.

Produce 2 high-quality YouTube videos per week.

Transform raw footage into structured, entertaining 10–20 minute videos.

Create compelling introductions and attention-grabbing hooks.

Develop natural storytelling through effective editing and pacing.

Add music, sound effects, B-roll, transitions, graphics and visual effects.

Perform colour correction and audio enhancement.

Remove unnecessary footage, pauses and repetitive content.

Create videos designed to maximise viewer retention and watch time.

Maintain organised project files and meet consistent weekly deadlines.

Collaborate with our videographer and content team.

Requirements

Proven experience editing professional YouTube content.

Excellent storytelling skills and understanding of YouTube audience retention.

Experience editing lifestyle, entertainment, documentary or vlog-style videos.

Ability to independently review hours of uncut footage and build engaging stories.

Strong English comprehension and communication skills.

Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar.

Excellent time management and fast turnaround.

Reliable computer and high-speed internet capable of handling large video files.

Must be easily contactable throughout working hours, preferably via WhatsApp.

Must be proactive, creative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Must be available to start immediately.
