About the Role

We're looking for a talented, creative and extremely efficient Short-Form Video Editor to join our growing personal brand media team.

You'll be working with an Australian entrepreneur, creating entertaining content around business, lifestyle, travel, challenges and everyday experiences.

Our goal is to publish 6 high-quality reels every day across Instagram, Facebook , TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

You'll receive large amounts of completely unedited raw footage. Your responsibility will be to review this footage, identify the most entertaining moments and transform them into engaging, high-performing short-form videos.

This is not a position where you'll be handed pre-cut clips. You must be confident finding great content independently.

Key Responsibilities

Review hours of uncut raw video footage and identify the best moments for short-form content.

Produce approximately 42 completed reels per week, subject to footage volume and editing complexity.

Independently identify funny, exciting, motivational, controversial or engaging moments.

Create strong hooks that capture attention within the first 1–3 seconds.

Trim footage, structure clips and create entertaining stories.

Add captions, music, sound effects, transitions and engaging visual elements.

Optimise videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Organise edited content and maintain a consistent workflow.

Collaborate with our videographer and social media manager.

Requirements

Proven experience editing high-performing short-form content.

Strong understanding of viral content, audience retention and social media trends.

Ability to review lengthy raw footage and independently select engaging moments.

Fast editing turnaround and excellent time management.

Strong English comprehension.

Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar.

Reliable computer and high-speed internet.

Must be easily contactable throughout working hours, preferably via WhatsApp.

Must be proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Must be available to start immediately.
