Senior Video Editor & AI Video Creative

Hi! We’re Homespun Global, the company behind Lane Linen and several other home textile brands. We’re hiring a senior video editor to join our creative team full time.

We want someone at the top of their craft and we’ll pay for it. This is not an entry-level role. If you’re the editor other editors ask for help, keep reading.

What you’ll be doing:

We have a large library of video: professional product shoots, user-generated content (UGC) and past marketing assets. Your job is to turn that footage into high-performing ads. That means re-cutting what works, reimagining what doesn’t, and creating new takes that feel fresh.

A good part of the job is core editing: pacing, hooks, sound, color, captions and the many versions every ad needs. You’ll own that work.

We also want ideas from you. We keep a long list of creative targets, and you’ll work with our content team and AI tools to bring them to life. That includes pitching your own concepts, trying a lot of directions, and spotting which ones are strong enough to run.

About AI in this role

AI is a core part of this job, not a side skill. To be clear about why: we’re not using AI to replace creatives. We’re growing our creative team, and AI is the tool that lets each person produce more, at higher quality. We want someone who already works this way, or who is excited to.

What we’re looking for

Several years of professional editing experience, ideally with ads or social content (Amazon, TikTok, Meta, YouTube)
Strong skills in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects or motion graphics
Hands-on experience with AI video, image and audio tools, and an actual workflow, not just a few experiments
A good eye for hooks, pacing and what makes someone stop scrolling
The ability to produce a high volume of work without the quality dropping
People who take big swings and are comfortable having many ideas, some of which won’t make it
Clear written and spoken English
A reliable computer that can handle heavy editing, and a stable internet connection

About us

Homespun Global is a 9-figure home textiles company. Our brands include Lane Linen, and we sell on Amazon, TikTok, our own websites, Walmart and Target. Unlike most e-commerce brands, we manufacture many of our own products, so you’ll be working with real products and a lot of real footage.

Our creative team is mostly based in Austin, Texas, with team members in several other countries. We’re a stable, well-run company and you’ll always be paid on time.

Schedule

The role is fully remote. The creative team has a daily standup at 8:00 AM US Eastern time, Monday to Thursday. That’s 8:00 or 9:00 PM Philippine time, depending on daylight saving. Outside the standup, you choose your own hours.

Pay and terms:

Starting at $2,000 USD per month. We’ll go higher for the right candidate.
That works out to about $11.54/hour (based on 173.33 hours a month), around $461.54 a week, or around $923.08 every two weeks.
Paid monthly by default. We can switch to every two weeks if you need it.
Bank transfer is our preferred payment method. We can also pay through Wise or PayPal.
13th-month pay: you become eligible after 12 months with us. Pay for 2026 is prorated.
90-day trial period: you’ll work as an independent contractor for your first 90 days.
Paid sample assignment: shortlisted candidates do a paid test project of 5 to 10 hours at $12 USD/hour. We don’t ask for free work.

These are our defaults, but we’re flexible. If you’re the right person, we’ll work with you to make it fit.
