Software Developer: API Integrations, Webhooks and Landing Pages
Confidential employer
Telemed Studios helps launch and operate telehealth brands. We need an experienced, hands-on developer to put our landing pages live and connect our patient platform, email automation and reporting. We are preparing five clinics initially, with more to follow.
This is an ongoing, remote part-time role, targeting 25 hours per week at US$2,000–2,500 per month, depending on relevant experience.
What you will do
- Implement supplied landing-page designs and copy, connect brand domains, and make sure mobile layouts, forms, pop-ups, plan selections and buttons work properly.
- Connect landing-page buttons to the correct assessment or checkout in our existing patient platform, preserving supported plan and campaign information.
- Work with the platform team on its documented APIs and webhooks, then connect real application, checkout, payment and subscription events to the selected email platform.
- Build the supplied automation rules: start a recovery journey after a real start, wait, check current status, and stop the messages when the relevant application or order completes.
- Connect approved tracking and attribution, and make reporting gaps visible. A button click and a completed purchase must remain different events.
- Handle duplicate notifications, failed connections and delayed events. Add retries, logs and alerts so the team can see when something breaks.
- Keep each clinic’s people, permissions, sender and reporting separate while using shared code and documented configuration to launch new clinics efficiently.
- Maintain company-controlled code and clear operating instructions, and explain blockers, recurring costs and technical decisions in plain English.
The tools
Our patient platform is Vyzit. We are evaluating Framer and Webflow for pages, ---------- and GoHighLevel for email automation, and Curve for attribution. You will help validate the final connections and implement the agreed setup. We provide the page designs, approved copy, offers and messaging rules.
What you need
- You have personally shipped and maintained real integrations between software systems, using JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, APIs, webhooks and a database.
- You can explain one integration that broke in production, how you found the cause, and how you fixed it.
- You can deploy and troubleshoot landing pages, domains, forms and front-end code.
- You understand conditional email or CRM automation, including waits, exclusions, customer status and stopping messages after completion. Experience in a comparable platform is welcome.
- You can work independently, communicate clearly in spoken and written English, and commit to the agreed weekly hours and overlap.
You do not need experience with every named product. Strong integration experience and the ability to understand an unfamiliar platform matter. Experience with subscription businesses, privacy-sensitive systems, ---------- , Framer or Webflow is useful.
We welcome AI coding tools. You remain responsible for explaining, testing and maintaining the work you deliver.
In your application, you must include the word "kangaroo." Otherwise, I know you will not have properly read this application, and thus you are not a good fit for our team. We have extremely high standards, and to be part of our team, we need to know that you are an A-player and have a high attention to detail.
Growth
We are building a repeatable technical setup across multiple clinics. As the clinic portfolio grows, there may be opportunities for additional hours and broader responsibility for integrations and deployment. Any increase will be agreed based on business needs and performance.
How to apply
Please answer these three questions:
1. Describe one integration you personally delivered. Which systems did you connect, what did you build, and what went wrong that you had to fix?
2. What have you personally done with landing pages and conditional email or CRM automation? Which parts of this role would be new to you?
3. When can you start, can you commit to 25 hours per week, and which hours can you consistently overlap with a US-based team? State your time zone.
Hiring process
A short live conversation, followed by a discussion of work you have already delivered and technical follow-up if needed. There is no take-home exercise and no production-account access required during hiring.
If selected, the first paid work is to confirm the supported interfaces and delivery plan for the five clinics, then implement the agreed priorities with clear acceptance checks.
