Experinced Backend SaaS Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team working on a transportation software SaaS platform built on Laravel. The platform is already developed, and your primary responsibility will be to enhance and optimize the existing system. This includes integrating AI capabilities, building advanced mapping logic using OpenStreetMap (OSM) data, setting up and managing a multi-tenant architecture, and monitoring and tracking system performance using Supabase.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance and maintain the existing Laravel-based backend system for the transportation SaaS platform.
Develop and integrate AI features to improve platform capabilities such as predictive analytics, route optimization, or intelligent decision-making.
Build and implement mapping logic for OpenStreetMap (OSM) data integration, ensuring accurate geospatial data handling and routing.
Design and set up a multi-tenant system architecture to support multiple clients with data isolation and scalability.
Monitor and track system performance and data using Supabase, including setting up real-time monitoring, alerts, and analytics dashboards.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend processes and database queries.
Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the backend services.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Backend Developer, preferably with Laravel framework.
Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel ecosystem.
Experience with AI integration in backend systems (e.g., using AI APIs, machine learning models).
Solid understanding of geospatial data and experience working with OpenStreetMap (OSM) or similar mapping data.
Experience designing and implementing multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
Familiarity with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms for database and real-time monitoring.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with database design, optimization, and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Good communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly.
