Point Cloud Drafter / As-Built Drafter

We are looking for an experienced Point Cloud Drafter to process laser scan and point cloud data into accurate as-built plans and CAD drawings.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with point clouds, laser scanning data, CAD drafting, and as-built documentation. Experience with Civil 3D is NOT required. We are open to candidates who have strong experience using other comparable CAD or point cloud processing software.

Responsibilities:

• Process raw laser scan and point cloud data into accurate as-built plans
• Create and update CAD drawings based on point cloud and 3D measurement data
• Draft floor plans, layouts, measurements, and other as-built documentation
• Review point cloud data and identify discrepancies or missing information
• Prepare FSL reports and other technical documentation as required
• Perform quality checks on drawings, measurements, and project files
• Make revisions based on project requirements and feedback
• Maintain organized project files and drawing documentation
• Follow drafting standards and project specifications
• Manage multiple commercial projects and meet deadlines
• Communicate clearly regarding project requirements, discrepancies, and revisions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting, point cloud drafting, or a related field
• Hands-on experience working with point clouds or laser scanning data
• Strong CAD drafting skills
• Experience creating as-built drawings or plans
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, measurements, and point cloud data
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve drafting issues
• Experience preparing technical reports or documentation
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Reliable and able to consistently meet deadlines

Software:

• Experience with point cloud processing and CAD software is required
• Civil 3D is NOT required
• Candidates may use comparable CAD or point cloud software such as Revit, AutoCAD, ReCap, CloudCompare, or other similar tools
• Strong experience with a comparable tool is acceptable

Preferred:

• Experience with Revit or other 3D modeling software
• Experience with commercial as-built projects
• Background in construction, surveying, architecture, engineering, or renovation
• Experience with 3D measurements or laser scanning
• Experience preparing documentation for construction or engineering projects

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote / Philippines
Rate: $7–$8/hour
