Chargeback & Dispute Specialist (Part-Time, Hourly) – Customer support - E-commerce Supplements Brand

We're a fast-growing e-commerce brand in the supplements category, selling online in the US with a subscription model. We're looking for a detail-oriented person to own our payment disputes: chargebacks and PayPal claims. Part-time, hourly, about 10 hours a week to start.

What you'll do

• Check every day for new disputes on Shopify Payments and PayPal.
• Gather the evidence for each case (order details, tracking and delivery confirmation, customer email s, the subscription terms the customer accepted, cancellation and refund history) and write a clear, professional response.
• Submit every response before the deadline, ideally within 48 hours.
• D ---------- with us when it makes more sense to refund or accept than to fight.
• Keep a tracker in Google Sheets: case, reason, amount, deadline, status and outcome.
• Send a short weekly report: disputes received, won, lost and pending, money recovered, and the patterns you see (reasons, products, offers) with ideas to prevent them.

How we'll judge the work

• No dispute missed or answered after the deadline.
• Win rate tracked every week and improving over time.
• Tracker always up to date.
• Weekly report delivered every Monday.

Must have

• Hands-on experience responding to chargebacks on Shopify Payments and/or PayPal (Stripe also counts).
• Understanding of the common reasons: unauthorized/fraud, product not received, not as described, subscription canceled.
• Clear written English and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable with deadlines.

Nice to have: subscription businesses, dispute alert tools (Ethoca, Verifi RDR), help desk tools.
