Finance Manager (Remote)
Confidential employer
Remote Finance Manager (Full-Time) | Singapore Coaching & Events Company | SGD 2,000–2,800/month
About us
Play Bigger Mentoring is Singapore’s fastest growing company running high-ticket coaching programmes, live sales events and software for coaches, financial advisers and business owners across Asia. We are growing and we need someone who owns the numbers end to end.
The role
You’ll be the person who knows, at any moment, what we’ve contracted, what’s actually been collected, what we’ve spent, who still owes us and what next month looks like. You’ll work closely with our Singapore-based bookkeeper, who handles day-to-day entries in QuickBooks. Your job is to review the books, analyse them and turn them into reports and decisions. You’ll report directly to the COO and work Singapore hours (same time zone as the Philippines).
What you’ll own
Expenses & books
Tabulate and categorise all expenses by business line, event and department
Review QuickBooks entries made by our bookkeeper, and flag errors or missing items
Reconcile the books against Stripe and the bank every month
Track spending against budget and flag anything unusual
Reporting
Weekly and monthly finance reports: revenue, cash collected, expenses, profit by business line
A clean month-end close
A simple dashboard the founders can check in 2 minutes
Collections
Track every client on a payment plan and make sure they pay on time
Send reminders, follow up on failed payments and escalate overdue accounts
Keep the receivables list accurate, with no surprises
Cash collected vs contracted
Track total contracted value against cash actually collected, per client, per event and per month
Flag gaps early, such as deposits not converted, refunds and chargebacks
Event finance
Send a full financial report within 24 hours of each live event: deals closed, contracted value, cash collected on the day, deposits, payment plans and event costs vs return
Run the follow-up collections after every event
Projections & budgeting
Build and maintain a 3–6 month cash flow forecast
Set department budgets and track actual spend against them
Model “what if” scenarios before big decisions, such as events, hires and ad spend
What you need
3+ years in finance or accounting, with real ownership of reporting, reconciliation and collections
A strong command of Excel / Google Sheets: pivots, lookups, and building a model from scratch
Experience with Stripe, plus QuickBooks or Xero
Experience managing receivables or installment payments for a services, coaching, education or events business
Strict about data security and privacy. You’ll handle client payment details and company financial records, so you must keep them confidential, use secure passwords and 2FA, never share data outside approved channels, and follow our access rules without exception.
Clear written English, and the confidence to tell founders what the numbers mean
Full-time availability with no other clients on the side
Stable internet and a quiet, private workspace
Nice to have
CPA or an accounting degree
Experience with Singapore companies (GST and the basics of SG accounting)
Comfort with automation tools (n8n, Zapier, GoHighLevel) and AI tools
What we offer
SGD 2,000–2,800 per month based on experience, with more for strong CPAs
Fully remote, on Singapore / Philippines hours
Direct work with the founders, plus room to grow into a Head of Finance role as we scale
A fast-moving team that values ownership over hours logged
