Screen Recorder: record short software how-to tasks (no voice, no editing)

You record your screen completing a small task in an app or on a website, for a tutorial on that task.

How it works:

• You are given a task, for example "how to add a signature in Outlook" or "how to connect a domain in Shopify".
• You look up how it is done.
• You record your screen doing it calmly from start to finish, using OBS (free).
• You send the recording. That is the whole job.

No voice. No camera. No editing. No client calls.

What you need:

• A Windows 11 PC with a 1920 x 1080 screen (or larger)
• A stable internet connection for uploading recordings
• OBS Studio (free). We send a short setup guide.
• To be comfortable finding your way round apps and websites you have not used before
• To be careful. A recording has to show the whole task, cleanly, with nothing personal on screen.
• Ideally be comfortable doing repetitive tasks and be a quick problem solver

Hours and pay:

• Work whenever you like. There are always tasks waiting.
• Paid per accepted recording. Most recordings are a few minutes long.
• People who are quick and careful can do as many a day as they want.

Alternatively I'm looking for full time positions. Full time, about 40 hours a week, at the hours that suit you.

How to apply:

1. Which Windows version do you have, and what is your screen resolution?
2. How many hours a day can you give this?
3. Have you used OBS or any other screen recorder before?
4. Name a few app's or website's you know really well.

If your answers fit, you get a short test: two quick recordings. If you join, both test recordings are paid at the normal rate.
