About the Role

Remote | Philippines | Project-Based | Potential Long-Term Partnership

Production Budget: $1,500–$3,000 USD per completed film

About the Project

We are launching What Changed Us, an original cinematic storytelling channel on YouTube featuring emotionally powerful films about love, family, sacrifice, unexpected relationships, betrayal, redemption, and the moments that change people's lives.

Our goal is to produce beautiful, realistic, emotionally compelling movies—not generic AI slideshows, animated photo sequences, or narrated stock footage.

Our first original film, The Woman Who Raised My Sons, explores extraordinary love, family, sacrifice, and the meaning of motherhood.

We are searching for a talented, creative, and independent AI filmmaker who can help bring our stories to life.

Who We're Looking For

We need someone who understands filmmaking, not simply AI video generation.

The ideal candidate can:

  • Transform original stories and screenplays into cinematic films.
  • Direct believable human performances with expressive emotions and natural movements.
  • Maintain consistent character faces, appearances, voices, and environments across scenes.
  • Develop compelling cinematography, camera movements, lighting, and scene transitions.
  • Produce natural English dialogue, voice performances, music, and professional sound design.
  • Handle AI scene generation, editing, pacing, and final production.
  • Work independently, solve production challenges, and offer creative recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the story creator while respecting the original artistic vision.

Experience with AI filmmaking tools and professional editing software is important. Demonstrated cinematic storytelling ability matters more than any particular software.

Production Budget and Expectations

Our initial budget is approximately $1,500–$3,000 per completed film, depending on the proposed scope and deliverables.

We envision approximately 35–45 minutes for our first movie, but we're open to recommendations regarding realistic production length and quality within our budget.

We want you to tell us what you can deliver.

Rather than automatically selecting the lowest bid, we will evaluate production quality, storytelling ability, artistic direction, proposed runtime, and overall value.

Proposals should identify what is included in the fixed project price, including AI generation costs, voices, music, editing, revisions, and final deliverables.

Our intention is to build a lasting production relationship. As the channel grows and earns audience engagement, opportunities for larger production budgets may become available.

How to Apply

Please provide:

1. Links to your two strongest completed cinematic storytelling projects, preferably involving realistic human characters and emotional scenes.
2. Your exact role in creating those films.
3. The AI filmmaking and editing tools you use.
4. An explanation of your character consistency and emotional performance workflow.
5. Your proposed film length, deliverables, estimated production schedule, and fixed-price quote within our $1,500–$3,000 budget.
6. Whether you can independently manage production from approved script through final edit.

Shortlisted filmmakers may be invited to complete a separate, agreed fixed-price paid cinematic evaluation before any full-film contract is offered.

Please begin your application with the words "Every Person Has a Story" so we know you've read the complete posting.

We welcome emerging filmmakers as well as experienced creative directors. What matters most is your ability to tell a story that moves people.

We look forward to discovering our next creative filmmaking partner.
