We are looking for a Utilities Specialist to work with our team. The qualified applicant will be responsible for coordinating utility services, managing billing and security deposits, processing service requests, maintaining utility account information, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication and accurate record keeping across internal teams and external providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Utility Management: Coordinate utility service connections, disconnections, and transfers. Ensure services are established and terminated timely and accurately.
• Lawn Care Requests: Process and track service and lawn care requests, coordinate with vendors, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Account Maintenance: Update utility account profiles, contact information, and billing details. Set up and maintain paperless billing.
• Billing & Deposits: Process utility bills, security deposits, credits, and refunds in QuickBooks and AppFolio. Verify charges and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Utility Issue Resolution: Communicate with utility providers to resolve account issues, incorrect charges, service interruptions, and billing concerns.
• Utilities App Management: Monitor, update, and manage tasks in the Utilities App, ensuring requests are completed and documented timely.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate reconciliation of all utility-related transactions.

Administrative Support: Maintain organized records, monitor outstanding tasks, communicate with vendors and internal teams, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
