Community Growth Manager (Full Time, Remote)

WKR is a Houston-based performance and streetwear brand for the powerlifting and gym community. We sell direct on Shopify. Our ---------- is where our customers, athletes, and creators live, and we are hiring one person to turn it into an in-house retention machine.

This is not a moderator role. You own the community and you are measured on growth, activity, and what it produces for the brand.

THE ROLE

You own the WKR ---------- and community growth end to end.

You will:

• Grow ---------- membership month over month through Instagram, email , post-purchase, athletes, and creators
• Keep the server active every day. Daily prompts, threads, check-ins, and conversation that people come back for
• Come up with and run creative engagement: challenges, PR boards, training logs, giveaways, AMAs with our athletes, early access drops, and events we have not thought of yet
• Build the server structure: channels, roles, onboarding flow, rules, and member tiers that reward the most active members
• Run moderation and set the standard for culture. Earned, not given, applies here too
• Post 3 to 4 times per week on our Instagram. Branded content that fits the WKR ecosystem. Our team supplies filmed and edited content. You d ---------- what goes out, when, how it is captioned, and what we should be producing next
• Find the top community members who want to create for us and move them into our UGC creator program. You identify them, pitch them, onboard them, and hand them off to our creator coach ready to produce
• Connect the community to revenue: drop launches, restocks, and early access run through the ---------- first
• Report weekly on member growth, daily active members, messages per day, retention, IG performance, and members converted to UGC creators

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Proven experience growing and running a ---------- community for a brand, ideally apparel, fitness, or DTC
• Member growth and activity you can show with numbers
• Experience running brand Instagram content and posting on a schedule
• Experience turning community members into creators, ambassadors, or affiliates
• Understanding of gym and powerlifting culture. You need to talk to our community like you belong in it
• Strong written English
• Available on US Central hours for drops, events, and live community moments
• Self-directed. You will not be micromanaged and you will be held to results

COMPENSATION

$1,000 USD per month, full time. Long term role.
