Part-Time Personal Brand Social Media Manager & Reels Editor

About the Role

I’m looking for a creative, detail-oriented social media content creator and video editor to help me build and grow my personal Instagram brand.

My content focuses on travel, career, lifestyle, personal growth, and everyday experiences.

I want my Instagram to feel like a beautifully curated digital journal — elegant, feminine, modern, aesthetically pleasing, and authentic.

I’m not looking for someone who simply cuts clips together. I want a creative partner who understands visual storytelling, has a good eye for aesthetics, and can transform everyday photos and videos into engaging Instagram content.

I will provide raw photos, videos, and information about upcoming experiences. Your responsibility will be to turn that material into polished, creative content.

Responsibilities

Instagram Reels & Video Editing

• Edit approximately 1–3 high-quality Instagram reels per month.
• Turn raw travel, lifestyle, restaurant, and everyday footage into engaging short-form videos.
• Add aesthetically pleasing transitions, trending audio, captions, and text overlays.
• Create storytelling reels, travel diaries, lifestyle montages, and occasional voiceover videos.
• Use tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Premiere Pro.

Instagram Posts & Stories

• Create attractive photo carousels and Instagram posts.
• Design creative Instagram stories using my photos and videos.
• Maintain a cohesive and visually appealing Instagram aesthetic.
• Create occasional story templates and highlight covers.

Content Planning & Creative Direction

• Suggest creative reel concepts based on my upcoming activities and travel.
• Recommend what videos or pictures I should capture to create better content.
• Develop captions that reflect my personal voice and personality.
• Suggest appropriate trending audio, hashtags, and creative storytelling approaches.
• Help organize content into a simple monthly content calendar.

Instagram Scheduling & Publishing

• Prepare and schedule approved posts, reels, and stories.
• Ensure content is published according to our agreed schedule.
• Organize content files and finished deliverables.
• Communicate regularly regarding content ideas and progress.

Expected Monthly Deliverables

Initially, I anticipate:

• 1–3 Instagram reels
• 1–2 Instagram photo posts or carousels
• 4–6 creative Instagram stories
• Caption writing and hashtag suggestions
• A simple monthly content calendar
• Scheduling and publishing approved content

The workload may increase during months when I’m traveling or attending special events.
