WordPress Page Builder Developer (Beaver Builder & Elementor) – Freelance

pache Interactive is a Houston-based digital marketing agency with more than 24 years in business. We build and manage responsive WordPress websites for B2B companies, nonprofits, churches, industrial and financial organizations, and other agencies. We’re looking for a skilled WordPress builder who can turn approved designs into clean, responsive, SEO-friendly websites, and who can also make edits and updates to existing sites.

Beaver Builder is our primary page builder, so deep experience with it is the most important qualification. Elementor experience is also required, since we work with both.

What You’ll Do

Build new WordPress websites using Beaver Builder (primary) and Elementor
Translate graphic designs (Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD, or PDF mockups) into pixel-accurate, fully responsive pages
Edit, update, and maintain existing WordPress sites, including layout changes, new pages, and content updates
Set up and style global elements such as headers, footers, themed rows, and reusable templates
Apply consistent typography, spacing, and brand styling across a site
Install, configure, and manage plugins
Set up on-page SEO using Yoast SEO or similar plugins (titles, meta descriptions, schema basics, XML sitemaps)
Optimize images and pages for speed and mobile performance
Test across browsers and devices before launch
Follow clear project instructions and revise quickly based on feedback

Requirements

Expert-level experience with Beaver Builder, including Beaver Themer and custom modules and settings
Strong working experience with Elementor
Proven ability to implement graphic designs into responsive WordPress sites, with a strong eye for mobile and tablet layouts
A good sense of typographic style: font pairing, hierarchy, line height, spacing, and readability
Solid understanding of the WordPress ecosystem: themes, plugins, user roles, media, menus, and settings
Experience with common SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO and Rank Math
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for custom tweaks beyond what the builder offers
Experience with common plugins such as forms (Gravity Forms, WPForms), caching and performance, security, and backup tools
Good written English and clear communication
Reliable internet and a dependable computer
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively if something changes

Nice to Have

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) experience
WooCommerce experience
Website accessibility (ADA/WCAG) awareness
Basic understanding of technical SEO, including heading structure, internal linking, and site speed
Experience with staging environments, Git, or managed WordPress hosts
Basic PHP or JavaScript knowledge
Experience working with agencies or white-label teams
