About the Role

I’m looking for someone to help create content for SmoothRac3r, an automotive social media brand focused on interesting and viral car stories.

This is not a typical social media manager job. I need someone who can find interesting automotive stories and turn them into content people actually want to click, read, share, and comment on.

What you’ll do:

  • Find interesting and viral automotive stories
  • Research rare cars, supercars, celebrity cars, forgotten concepts, automotive history, and current car news
  • Find high-quality photos and original sources
  • Verify facts before creating content
  • Create Instagram posts using our existing style/templates
  • Write short, attention-grabbing headlines and captions
  • Help prepare multiple pieces of content per day
  • Study automotive/social media trends and find new content opportunities

You should:

  • Genuinely be interested in cars
  • Understand Instagram, and viral content
  • Have strong internet research skills
  • Have good written English
  • Know Canva, Photoshop, or similar design software
  • Be able to follow an established content style
  • Work independently and consistently
  • Pay close attention to details

You do not need years of professional social media experience. I care more about whether you understand cars, can find good stories, learn quickly, and have good judgment.

HOW TO APPLY

Please include the following with your application:

1. Find 3 automotive stories/topics that you think could perform well on Instagram.
2. Write a short headline for each one.
3. Explain in 1–2 sentences why you think each story would perform well.
4. Include the source where you found each story.
5. Tell me your 3 favorite cars.
6. Tell me what programs you use for graphic design/content creation.

Strong applicants may be selected for a paid trial assignment before being hired long-term.
